This was a cool project. For this swap on swap-bot, the point was to plagiarize one of your partner's ATCs. My partner had some beautiful ATCs in her gallery, and I picked this one of hers to copy: And so here is my version of it:
Sigh. Why does my kid look so fat?? Well, I hope she likes it. I'm hoping to repeat this swap again someday. Plus, I'm really curious to see what my partner makes for me!
For this swap, my partner pushed me to look through her gallery of ATCs and make an ATC in a style similar to her own. I think this was an excellent idea on her part! Her ATCs are totally not the style I'm used to making, so it was a stretch for me.
I'm planning on sending her the butterfly one, since I think that's the one that most closely matches her style. Her idea also inspired me to create this swap, so I hope other people can have fun with the idea too!
First, two blue fabric ATCs. One if for this swap, and the other is for something else.
And a Zentangle ATC for this swap. The patterns used are Inapod (in the center), Jax (the one that looks like jacks) and Kandysnake (the snakey-looking one).
